Who am I?

Hi, I'm Jesse.

I'm an archer and archery coach, based on the Lancashire / Cumbria border. I'm an Archery GB-licensed Development Coach (Level 2), I'm currently Coaching Officer for Morecambe Bay Archers, and part of the coaching team at Lancaster University. On my YouTube Channel - Jesse Does Archery - you'll find a variety of archery training videos, technical videos, and form checks.

My pronouns are they/them/theirs.

Where do I shoot?

I shoot with Morecambe Bay Archers and Lancaster University Archery Club. You'll see me shooting at NEUAL and BUCS competitions throughout the academic year, and often at local competitions around the north-west of England.

Coaching

I specialise in coaching Barebow and Olympic Recurve styles of archery, and have a current enhanced DBS certificate. Unfortunately, I'm not currently taking any new students outside of Lancaster University Archery Club and Morecambe Bay Archers. If you're interested in learning archery for the first time, but don't want to join a club, I recommend talking to the coaches at Northern Archery.

Scouts

I hold an Archery Leadership Permit issued by The Scouts and run taster archery sessions for all age groups, as well as a beginners' course which fulfils the requirements of the Scouts' Master At Arms Activity Badge (as well as earning an Archery GB recognised beginners' certificate for each young person involved which will qualify them to join most archery clubs).

Archery sessions can also be used to work towards Beavers' Sports Activity Badge; Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers' Physical Recreation Activity Badge; and both Activity Plus and Instructor badges at all levels.
